STEP 0: Create a New Account, Log In
An email address is required when creating a new account.
STEP 1: Log in User
(1) Procedures for Entry and Return to Japan
(2) Login Passport Information
You can choose the method of "reading through the camera" or "entering yourself" to log in passport information.
If the passport validity period is less than 6 months, a warning message will be displayed based on the duration.
Rescanning was also unsuccessful. On the login method selection screen, you can directly input by selecting "Enter Manually".
When using the tax-free purchase function, you need to scan your passport.
(3) Login Basic Information
Enter optional fields.
After entering here, you can refer to it in "STEP 3 Enter Procedures for Entry/Return to Japan".
If your occupation and address do not change frequently, it is recommended to enter them here.
※ Japanese nationals or (deemed) re-entrants cannot enter current address: country name, current address: city name.
(4) Enter Contact Method in Japan (Place of Stay)
Enter optional fields.
After entering here, it can be referenced in "STEP 2 Register Entry/Return to Japan Schedule".
If you have an address in Japan or a frequently used place of stay, it is recommended to enter it here.
※Foreigners cannot enter.
STEP 2: Register Entry/Return to Japan Schedule
Enter travel information and register the schedule.
You can register using any of the following methods A to C.
(A) Log in without citation
(B) Reference Logged Entry/Return to Japan Information
The referenced information is displayed.
If you want to reference the displayed information, please click "Reference this Entry/Return to Japan Information".
If you select logged entry/return to Japan information, only "Contact Method in Japan (Place of Stay)" can be referenced.
(C) Reference the information from the visa application
Enter the VISA issuance number and click "Get VISA Information" to display the visa information.
If you want to reference the displayed information, click "Reference this visa information".
STEP 3: Enter Entry/Return to Japan Procedures
Click on the logged-in reservation and enter the information required for entry/return to Japan procedures.
Quarantine
In the procedure screen's "Quarantine (Confirm Health Status)", answer the questions and then confirm the guidance corresponding to your health status.
Immigration Inspection and Customs Declaration
Enter information on the "Immigration Inspection and Customs Declaration" screen in the procedure.
※Japanese nationals or (deemed) re-entrants do not need to enter immigration inspection (foreigner entry record).
Only enter customs declaration (declaration of carried items and separately shipped items).
Procedures Required for Entry/Return to Japan
STEP 4: Display QR Code for Entry/Return to Japan Procedures
Immigration Inspection and Customs Declaration
Display the QR code on the procedure screen.
The QR code can be used at the immigration inspection counter during immigration inspection, and at the electronic declaration device or inspection counter for customs declaration. After declaring on the electronic declaration device, you can use the electronic declaration gate.
※At Haneda Airport, Fukuoka Airport, and Naha Airport, you can perform electronic customs declaration using the electronic declaration device while waiting for your luggage to arrive on the conveyor belt.
Usage Process for Tax-Free Purchases
(1) Information Registration Method
Among those who make tax-free purchases, only individuals with foreign nationality and whose residence status is short-term stay, diplomatic, or official can use this service.
Additionally, to create a tax-free QR code, it is necessary to scan the passport in advance.
Refer to "STEP 1: Register User" to modify personal information.
Read the landing permit sticker on the passport.
Align the landing permit sticker within the scanning frame to automatically read the QR code.
If an error occurs, check the error message and read it again.
(2) Display Tax-Free QR Code
Show the QR code at stores that accept tax-free QR codes.
